This spell was much more reasonable in cost. Basically, it wasn’t a shield so much as a bug zapper. Any pests that went trying to poke around in a shielded creature’s head got zapped, and kept getting zapped until they either broke the spell, or stopped poking their nose into my minions’ minds.

Disrupt Control I

Cost: 100 MP

Range: 10 meters

Target: One Creature

Launch a nondamaging attack on a creature’s mind. This attack attempts to disrupt any single mental shield, control, illusion, or other effect on the target, other than the caster’s own effects. Multiple effects must be disrupted separately. Does not work on curses that affect a creature’s mind, such as that of a Slave Collar. If the caster’s (CHA+Level) is greater than or equal to the opposing caster’s (WIS+Level), the effect ends. Otherwise, it continues. Ineffective on effects above Tier 1, Level 20.
